We’ve broken ground on our New Headquarters!

For 56 years, you could find Yale/Burns Industrial Equipment on Rico Road in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. But as our business continued to grow, we knew it was time for a little breathing room. So, we’re excited to announce that we’ve broken ground on our new headquarters! All 60+ of Burns Pittsburgh employees will be heading over to our new building in Cranberry Township, PA, by this summer. This new Lift Truck Supercenter will help us better serve the needs of our customers.

We’ve been kicking around the idea of building a new facility for quite a while now. Our current location is somewhat small for all of our activity, and for years we have been leasing additional space to house our new truck and rental fleet inventory. In order to meet rental demand, and to expand our service capabilities, we knew it was time to build.

We’re upgrading our space to 60,000 square feet. Our new, larger shop will accommodate everything from Yale walkies to Taylor coil trucks, with high capacity overhead cranes for the really big jobs. If that wasn’t enough of a reason to build a new Supercenter, we’re creating much improved office space for our parts and service team. The new HQ will have:

  • Showroom for the full range of Yale forklifts
  • Narrow aisle truck demonstration area
  • Allied material handling product examples
  • New training facility for enhanced operator and technician training.
  • State of the art parts inventory management system for immediate availability
  • Operational efficiencies all under one roof

The Burns team looks forward to serving our loyal customers for another 50+ years from our new headquarters. It’s now easier and more central than ever to come see us for all of your material handling needs. Stay tuned for updates and photos of our finished HQ coming this summer!
