The Pittsburgh division of Valvoline brought back an old tradition in the forklift world and hosted a forklift rodeo for its operators. The competition involved each operator driving though a course, balancing a basketball in the forks, and other acts of agility to prove their bragging rights as the best driver. More than 15 operators participated and the winner was awarded based on speed through the course, the least amount of mistakes, and their score on a written safety test. Valvoline and Burns Industrial Equipment used the forklift rodeo to promote forklift operator safety and team building. Burns Industrial Equipment provided prizes for the participants and our team had a great time watching the drivers show off their skills.
