GEM’s safety features go above and beyond the standard LSV (low-speed vehicle) requirements. LSVs must be equipped with three-point seat belts, running lights, headlights, brake lights, reflectors, rearview mirrors, backup cameras, and turn signals. In addition, speeds are limited to 25 mph for the safety of both passengers and pedestrians.
